Hmmmm, it's Sunday. Yesterday I had the fire department christmas party which was loads of fun. It's too bad that I had to leave with a headache. But thanks to the firemen for the nice gift anyway. Shannon was really good with my friend who was babysitting, it didn't even bother her that Rob and I weren't there. That's a relief.

Today I have the children's christmas party. I can't wait to bring Shannon. She will love to see the other kids.

I have my last assignment due today for the course I'm taking! Then I'm FRRREEEE. YIPPEE! I took the pharmacology course thinking that it would be a study course without many assignments but was I wrong! I've had 7 papers and one exam. How much can you possibly write about medications anyways? I've found out that you can write quite a bit. The information is a little dry, but if you gotta do it, you gotta do it. I guess if you want something bad enough you'll work for it. I want to get off floor duty in the hospital. I don't handle night shifts well, makes me nauseous. I don't think it's normal to do shift work. I think it takes years off your life.

Maybe that'll be my first topic, shift work and it's impact on your health. But I'll write it later. Right now I have to get back to my assignment. Later.

It's going to evolve as time goes by I guess, but it will probably involve health issues and medical humor etc. You know, being a nurse it's hard to get away from.
